 Post subject: Local Government trying to ban wake surfing

Our local government is trying to pass a law that would prohibit wake enhancing devices for a 20 mile stretch of our local waterway.

I could use some help if everyone wouldn't mind signing the petition suggesting it is a bad idea.

Actually, the law says that it only bans people from using wake enhancing technology within 200 feet of any docks on that stretch. Read it. Isn't that what the actual proposal says? It is not unreasonable to expect people to stay 200 feet away from home docks.

I read a post about this mentioning personal emails to gov officials as the best way since other side has a stock petition as well
