pull hard tanks and go bigger?

i had my first test run on the water.... i am super happy! No leakes whatsoever, no more auto-bilge coming on when I accelerate. The sacks fill all the way without putting pressure anywhere. The 900's fill completely and it takes 6 minutes and 26 seconds until water starts coming out the vent. It takes about 7 minutes to drain completely... and they drain all the way flat too!

I highly recommend doing this, now my wake boards fit in my lockers. I was able to fit a wake surfer and my wifes board in one locker, and my board in the other.

When the sacks are full, I have about a foot of space left in the locker to put my fenders, life jackets, ropes, toys...etc.

I did the starboard side on mine today but I wasn't able to get the tank out without cutting to allow it to bend.

Nice side benefit to this project is that engine access is much easier now.

Yeah Dave, I couldn't pull them without cutting either, not sure how Walter did it, he must be a magician. No biggie as I have no use for those tanks anyways.

I rode my new set up on my home lake friday, 4 adults and 2 small children. There is definitely more weight in the rear now as the wake was noticeably bigger. It felt almost as big as when I add the sumo 800 floor sack to the old set up. I plan on going again with just 2 adults and throw the floor sack in. So pumped, the wake is incredible. It fills so fast now and I have not a single drop of water in my boat after all day of riding.

Well done John. This is on my winter to do now. Some cargo nets on the underside of the sunpaid doors for storage too.

Don't wait for winter, it really doesn't take that long at all to pull them out, you can go out there with 2 screwdrivers and have them both out in a few hours

What bags do use in the rear now?

I'm thinking about doing it just don't want to buy new bags.

He has Sumo 900s and that's what I run as well. I think Walter has some customs sacs in the 750 range.

Mine are somewhere in the 700-750 range, fits great and fills completely

What year is Johnny's boat? My 750s look like they take up less room on top of the hard tanks then Walters without the tank. I think Walter's is 10 or 11.
