Picked up the A24 today. The boat is massive but drives so easy. Gotta get used to the extra 700lbs of boat around the dock.

Looks awesome on the water. I questioned the blue on the trailer. Now I am a fan. Dang son.

Thx everyone. That's the thing about a mainly vapor blue boat (or a bright color for that matter). It looks "okay" on the trailer but it pops on the water.

The dock is very nice. You have to tie off the bow and stern due to the position of the cleats on the docks. They were running power for lighting today.

The water is nice and cold... It is busy on the weekends..

Best time to ride on Lake Austin is during the week in the morning. During the summer it is really full of boats and with Travis being down more and more traffic is on Austin. If you are going to ride on the weekends haul all the way past Steiner ranch and board in the coldest water but that will be where you can find some smooth water.

Hula hut for some Tex mex. Creamy Jalapeno dip is the best(ask for it). Ski Shores is going to have the best burgers on the lake and that is past Emma long park.

So depending on the time I would use the 360 bridge or Oyster landing ramps. If you are going during a busy time drop your boat in at Quinlan park and just be prepared for colder water but it will save you time getting up to smooth water.

It will not be muddy.. :)
