GoPro mount

I am looking for a good place to mount a gopro to my boat. How are any of you guys mounting them or any ideas on a good location.

Suction cup on the transom or on the rider using the chest mount.
Ive got the GoPro Motorsport edition therefore it came with the suction cup and it can stick everywhere and it is pretty sturdy.

This should work for you. http://gopro.com/camera-mounts/roll-bar-mount I used this on my tower last year and it worked great.

I was told that the roll bar mount was too small for the axis tower. Where did you mount it.

Sorry, I just looked and it is only good up to 2.5". I would think you could replace the bolts it comes with to allow it to be used on the thicker axis tower.
I used it on a different boat tower.

I remember seeing someone mount their GoPro to the side of the tower where the extra board rack would normally go. Not sure which mount they used that had this bolt pattern or if an adapter is needed. YouTube 'Axis A20 surf' and you'll find it. Not sure if this is the most ideal location but it's an option.

Mount it on the rope! The video is a little shaky but you can get some sweet still shots!!

I asked Walter about this in the top thread "Winter is coming...want a free wake DVD package?" He has the ideal angle from the tower in a video he posted on there. I bet he will have some pictures here in a few days!

Here is how mine is mounted, I used the speaker mount off the original mtx tower speakers, then I just stuck on one of the flat adhesive mounts to it.
