I am jealous! Our boat has been put up for about a month now here in Oklahoma. I am ready for Spring!

I mean it's not terrible. Just not lake weather. It has been somewhat chilly the past few days. Shouldn't be bad the rest of the week. 60's ish I think.

What do you do for work if you don't mind me asking?

Sorry I was on a cruise ship.

I sell hardware and software to large data centers. I also consult. I have experience in old mainframe systems to newer nerd stuff. A number of state agencies seem to have that mix of tech. Some really old old stuff and then a sprinkle of new. Getting all that stuff to talk seems to be an ongoing process.

Once a month for a few days.

Just watched the Thunder last night. That was a good time.

I ended up buying some Oneill wesuits. Way cheaper than the drysuit and I think since we have not had any really cold temps the suit will be fine.

Now I want to get a surf poncho or something like that I can throw on after a set to warm up.

You are killing me. Every year at this time I think maybe I should move south. We rode last week in Wisconsin. Water was 40 degrees. Had to jump in to swing the boat in some shallows with the drysuit but bare feet. Within a minute my feet were unbearable.

Still in jacket and Board shorts last 5 weeks , Sunday 68-71 air , 64-68 degree water, two foilers came to surf and wore their dry suits and BOOTIES! I admit it looked comfy wearing their pants and shirts , but I really had a good time making fun, they even talked my wife out of wearing her 3/2 full and getting in, I was inspired by a crazy Canuck Rod Mann, who showed me how real men sit on the platform in the water in shorts and jacket drinking a beer in December or January. I’ll see how far I get this year but if we keep going weekly , I’m gonna go in shorts this whole year on 1st run, doubt I’ll make it to January cause I really don’t like cold but I noticed I surf way better than with a shorty or full 3/2

This year missed January , used 3/2 dec 16 and 3/2 and shorty feb 17, wore shorts all March and rest of year. Love the South, I’m at 450 hours in 3.5 years inc 9 months with a broken leg plus 100 or more hours on a friends G23 in 2016
