It would work but honestly I feel it would be to aggressive for the 409 with new gearing. What prop came with you're A22? I was out on a 17 A24 with the 2249 prop which is the torque prop upgrade. It had absolutely zero issue getting up to wakeboard speed with stock ballast full, 600s in the rear, wedge down and 300lbs lead in bow along with bow p&p full. 23 mph rpms were around 4k. If you drop down to a 12 pitch the rpms will go up quit a bit.

Pm has been returned. Yes this prop would work great on your boat. It is actually the recommend prop on wakemakers webpage.

The prop has 2277 in black marker on one of the blades. I'm asumming that is the prop number. This is my first new boat so I'm not very well versed in props and how it will effect the overall experience. We surf more then wake board and not to many of my friends need a tow with Ballast full when wake boarding. I'm not to concerned with top speed, although I wouldn't mind if when at minimum throttle it would slow down just a little, for approaching docks and other boats. What are your thoughts?
