I ran my 2419 this weekend for the first time... can't believe how hard it pulls out of the water. I can't imagine how at any elevation. It would not easily surf.

The more things I see from guys with 409's saying the same thing I am wondering if I have something wrong with my boat that is causing my issues. I am trying to arrange with my dealer to get out on another 409 boat so I can do the "seat of the pants dyno" as well as see if their boat can pull up the weight. I could see if I were trying too get the 7000+ up that some guys on here are running but I am literally trying to just get the boat with full PNP ballast up to speed (no wedge) and it won't.

And it won't after I have put a beast of a prop on it and 200# of lead in the nose. Honestly I am just tired of throwing my money at the issue that I feel I should not even have to deal with.

My 409 with 750's and 650 in bow, 650# in passengers no wedge and a 1939 prop is maxed out at 11 mph at 1100 ft. I'm looking to reprop but don't want to change my top end cruising a bunch

That prop is to tall.. I would pick up a 2249 or a 2419 (both worked well for me but 2419 is better if you want to wake board with weight or get yanked out fast surfing). We rarely travel far from the launch so I'll be sticking with the 2419 as it is that much better.
