I am considering putting it on my ‘17 T22

Is it worth the expense?

Can someone explain how it is meant to reduce emissions when only 1 of the 2 exhaust openings is redirected?

Your exhaust is two into one. Or at least it should be. If not FAE makes a 2 into 1 pipe.

I saw the FAE website and see their 2-1 design.
Much cheaper than the stock Axis one. I may go down this route?

Thx

Does your boat have two exhausts exits on the transome of the boat?

After some discussion with Malibu, the only way to convert my twin exhaust Axis is to change the exhaust to a single outlet and seal the starboard side opening in the hull.
Then install the stock Malibu part.
So a pretty major undertaking

FAE will manufacture a 2-1 Surfpipe to exactly fit my boats exhaust/wedge dimensions.
Just waiting on pricing.

I think it’s worth it. Especially for the health of the kids.

I have this exact setup on my a22. Install was easy and it works great.
