Towers are unreal. I've had them out once and it's night and day difference.

It does make the tower heavy, and will be even more so with a 410. Gonna have to train whoever is pulling me not to go jumping rollers of oncoming boats.

XS-650's are in. The Wetsounds sound better than the polk db651's. Not so much in the high/treble, but sound better in the mid-range frequency. I got a sweet deal on these. The construction is top notch and you can tell they were meant for marine use with all of the protection around cone/backplate. The polks are are great speaker for the money, and easily sound better than the stock MTX.

What kind of amps are you guys running everything with, how much power is going to the rev 10's and the xs650's?

I have a kicker ix1000.1 going to a 12" kicker cvx124
kicker ix500.4 on the cabins (65-75w is a little under-powered for the xs-650)
arc audio ks300.4 on the rev10's (bridged 350x2rms @ 4ohm)
arc audio ks300.2 on the rev410 (bridged 700x1rms @ 4ohm)

Really like the arc/kicker amps. Was jamming all day Friday and they didn't skip a beat inside the port locker on a hot day. If I were to go to different cabin amp, I'd do a jl audio hd600.4- but they're pretty expensive.

I couldn't imagine needing that thing, my buddy and I just put 2 rev 10's on his 2001 tige and powered them with a 600watt PPI amp from the old school days and they sound amazing!!! We also put 4 xs650's in the cabin and the wet sounds free air sub under the helm. After riding behind the boat at 70' I want some for mine now. Now the hard part, choosing between the REV's or the XM9's, I do NOT like the release clamp on the revs but they sound soo good. I really like the clamps on the XM9's but I haven't heard a set yet. I need to hear some unbiased opinions.....

I haven't heard the xm9's either. I've heard xm7's and they are loud, but painful to listen to up close. I've heard similar things on the xm9 being compared to the ws pro80's. The sxt65's sound nice, but more of a surf speaker.
Yes- I'm a little biased, but the Rev series have the best mids/bass of anything I've listened to. The quick release is hit and miss. I hate the allen screw. They should have designed the Y holder piece to come with something you insert and clamp down, replacing the screw.

nastya20, That should sound amazing. Post some video behind the boat when you install. I have a buddy at Car Toys that hooked me up on some clearanced Pro 485's.. I can't wait to install them.

Here's the finished results... It's a big difference in how loud 2 vs 4 are. Install was pretty easy. Getting the 3rd cable up through the tower and drilling 3 new holes were the most time consuming parts.

I'll try and do some video on Saturday. Can't wait to ride Sunday!
