Hey Yall,

As you can tell from my previous posts if you saw them I just got a 2010 Axis A22 Vandall edition. I have been having a few problems with it. The back right ballast now won't fill. I am not the most handy person in the world, but I am learning. Are there common things to check for?

Side note. Instead of paying someone to winterize the boat for my every year for the rest of my life I figured it's time to learn. Anyone have any advice on winterizing the a22 ? I live in north GA and planned to drain the block. Perhaps pump it back with antifreeze some how. Also, I am assuming I will have to some how get the water out of the ballast system as well. Let me know any helpful hints.

Thanks!

Is the pump turning on for the ballast?

If the pump is running it may be air locked. I have a 2012 vandall and my left rear for some reason gets air locked when I never have issues with the right rear. To fix it just get the boat on plain and turn on the pump/ballast switch and it fixes the air lock for me and it's good for a while again.
