Axis Wakeboard Boat Forum

So my summer is coming to an end and I am thinking about a winter project. So, I am thinking about replacing my titan tower speakers with something that you can actually hear behind the boat while wakeboarding. Now I know that the obvious choice is wetsounds. I don't really know much about exile. What about Roswell? So I want to hear your opinion. These are the set ups I have been considering:

-2 wetsound Rev 10s
-4 wetsound Rev 8s
-2 Roswell Neptunes (possibly combining them with 2 of my titan tower speakers)
-4 exile xm9

That's what I have came up with, but sure if there is any other options, please feel free to share.

The only ones I gave personal knowledge of is 1pair of Rev 10's on a syn4, they are ridiculously loud and clear. I've heard great things about exile too. Never heard any news good or bad on the roswells.

I agree. I am running one pair of Rev 10s and at first I thought about adding more but they sound great so I haven't.

Ya, I think I am leaning toward the 2 wetsound Rev 10s then maybe the year after I will add an additional 2 Rev 8s to top everything off. I have seen lots of axis with exile's and I don't think I like the look of them. I really like the idea of Roswell because it different, you don't see many boats with Roswell speakers. Just not sure if I wanted to add another set of tower speakers in the future, would I add another pair of Neptunes or would that not look right. So my question is what other Roswell tower speakers could go with a pair of Neptunes??

I don't know why you would want more than two Neptunes. They're loud and clear for listening while Wakeboarding. And they have a nice full loud sound even at low volumes while wake surfing. it would not be hard to add two Neptunes later if you wanted. Take a look at one of my previous threads with my Roswell install. Good luck with whatever you decide, they all sound great, most of it comes to preference.

My bud has a 12 and 15 sub in his GS3 ... sounds incredible ... add a 15" to sound pack 3 might be an upgrade that will be worth it. The 12 is nice, sounds great but the vibration added by the 15 ... wooohooo!

What part of the country are you in? Overton's has pricing online.
