That looks awesome-can you PM me with the rough cost of the project? Is there someone you worked with at Seadeck that can help? I just ordered a new T22 and absolutely want to do this! Since I have a different boat I will likely need to go through the same process as you. I am a new member and apparently I don't have PM privileges yet.

No problem sharing the price. It was just shy of $1400 I think including two template sets. Of you call you will work with Paige Brewer as she is the only person who manages these types of orders. I would greatly recommend doing this over fall or winter as it will probably take less than half the time. The timeline is supposed to look like:

-receive templates
-make templates and send back
-wait 2-6 weeks for drawings to be completed
-request dry fit samples
-2 weeks or so to get those, make corrections, and get them mailed in
-once they provide a final drawing you can do dry fits again, or have them produced...production takes like 10 days

The cost for faux teak is more than other products.....it was around $300 per sheet including design work and a sheet is roughly 40"x80". If you did not do the pieces to replace the traction around the top of the boat I assume you could get it under $1000

Av added bonus I don't think I mentioned......it is incredibly soft under foot! I have horrible feet from working in kitchens for years and it feels like I'm standing on some sort of temperpedic product!

Same thing the Nautiques have, experienced it yesterday, quite nice! I bet Axis offers it next year, likely not as cheap.

Ron

Did you get traction pads for the front of the boat also?

You also mentioned that everything should be the same except for the access hole and drivers foot well... Do you mind send me a PM with the templates or dimensions/

Thanks
Jason

I don't have every dimension....but if you shoot me your email I can email you the final drawing the did which has a lot of them. I did have the front pads done but haven't had time to get them on yet.

From the discussions I had early on you could call in and reference my name (john Mulhollen) to get going if you'd like. Personally what I would do is ask "can I get a dry fit set of the templates for john?" This would bump you forward weeks and weeks.....and possibly save them money so ask for a discount for sure. You the take those dry fit ones they send...cut them out, lay them on your boat, and make small adjustments as needed with a marker...

As for them offering it next year I would be surprised.....wouldn't if dealers offered it though. Seadek used to make the pads for Malibu and for some reason they went to a new company 4 or so years ago.

How hard was it to get the glue off from the old platform padding?
