I've got the nut loose and the c clamp on. The prop is wedged on a board and I'm turning hard as crap. Like I can see the fin and shaft flexing. Do I just keep on turning? I'm getting a breaker bar and socket for the puller this am. Am I doing something wrong? THe process seems very straightforward.
Thanks

Try getting a torch and heating the hub of the prop. With that amount of torque applied if you add some heat it should pop right off. If you don't have a torch handy boil a pot of water and dump it on the prop with the puller on and tight and it should pop off. Hope this helps.

I had to use a torch too, also dont keep tightening down the puller, just snug it up and tap the backside with a hammer.

I used a torch....don't use a cheap propane one as they do not get incredibly hot. 30 seconds with a butane (I think....whichever can is yellow usually) orch on the hub and mine popped right off with barely any torque on the puller.

No!!!!!! Just put a little pressure on it with the puller and give the pressure screw a firm whack with a ball peen hammer, put the nut back on a little bit so the whole works doesn't hit the ground, the harmonics from hitting the puller will cause the prop to vibrate right off.

Had to get a MAP torch. That thing shot of hard and loud! Scared that crap out of my buddy and I. High Altitude on and joey1's gates installed as well! Can't wait to test both out!
