Bryce, sounds like you got some really good info there. Can you give a link to that full thread?

Got the box in the boat last night and it is a very tight fit with the heater vent and all. Now i am not going to fight any of the audio gurus but i think this thing sound great. i am running a very under sized amp (about 125-150 watts @ 2 ohms) the speaker is rated for 400 watts but never the less still gives a good thump way better than any of the wetsound subs i have seen even with a box built for them. now on to some of the space issues if you look at the drawings there is a 2" gap from the floor to the sub but if you look at your boat there is about a 2" or so drop behind the consoled so the speaker clears the floor by almost 4". the back right corner of the box sits tight with the floor so make sure you make sure it fits before painting or using bed liner like i did. lastly some fiber glass will need to be cut. i cut the hole in the consoled down to about a 1/2" from the floor and i needed to remove about a 1/4" in the top right corner then just a small crescent for the hottube to fit but the original plastic foot well will still cover it all if the box was removed for some reason.

here is a little bigger photo

I'm getting ready to build one of these. I have one question. How thick is the plexiglass and how is it attached?

Doss the sound come from the ports or from the gap at the bottom or both?
