The port tunes the sound if I'm not mistaken. But the sound still comes from the sub. A ported box IMO sounds way better.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in room under the helm in an A20 vs. an A22? I want to do something like this but not sure if I have enough room. With the heater and all the ballast lines, there isnt much room back there.
