Here is a quick video showing how to remove a prop without a puller. I have a puller but can't use it on a 5 blade prop like this cinco.

Here is a 6 minute video on Vimeo, although it took me about 10 minutes total to pull it and put the new one on.

Sorry, couldnt figure out how to embed it from Vimeo.

That's how i had to remove mine. The blades are too close together for a puller of any kind.

When we were testing the 5 blade, I worked with Eric at OJ and he gave me a prop knocker. It is a nub type that screws onto the back and you hit it with a hammer. The blade then just comes off. A couple minutes and you're good. Haven't seen anybody else with one, but once we got the final product of what the 5 blade needed to be, I haven't pulled it off.

Sounds like they gave you a harmonic puller - http://www.wakeprops.com/blog/index/lis ... %20Puller/.

I have one and tried it on a prop that had been on for about 8 months (initially torqued to 35 ft.lbs). I couldn't get it off and had to use the torch method.

Yeah, it was that exactly.
