Fresh Air Exhaust

Just finished up installing Larry's redesigned FAE to fit with the wedge on the axis. I made my own support bracket to actually bolt to the wedge bracket, this thing is rock solid!! I can't wait to get it on the water and take a test run!!

He sent it with a stainless tubing and mounts to mount it to the swim platform but my platform has a little up and down play so I picked up a piece of 304 stainless and just mounted it to the wedge, drilling the holes was a major pain and burned up a few dozen bits but I think the finished product was worth the effort, best part is he said he would refund me the cost of the mount kit!! Super nice guy to work with.

It sounds loud for some reason but even out of the water with the pipe full while running it muffled it at least half as loud as it used to be on the hose

Is it tough to reach the wedge through the hatch now?

Ya now you have to swim under to get to it, or at least I will. Maybe someone with skinny hands can reach it, just not me. I think it'll be worth the trade out.

It diverts the exhaust gasses into the prop wash similar to an outboard or I/O, that way your person surfing doesn't get carbon monoxide poisoning
