Has anyone installed a flag holder on your tower??

I wanted to put something on my tower to be able to hold a flag for the 4th. Anyone else done this, if so, what did you use?

I would probably do hose clamps over zip ties. I have done zip ties and they suck.

Hose clamps may scratch the tower. Idk is probably just wait to post up somewhere before putting the flag up.

I just finished up doing a pair of flag mounts for mine. I used the factory speaker clamps that came on my MTX tower speakers, (I had switched over to rev10's three years ago) then I went to lowes and picked up a couple of wood flag poles and hangars. I hope the wood holds up, my last flag was on a fiberglass antenna and it worked out great. I just took off the adjustable part of the flag pole hangar and bolted it directly to the speaker clamp.

The speaker mounts look legit. I ended up ordering these-

Now I read that the OD of the tower is 2 7/8", if that is correct, these should work. Can anyone verify that is in fact the OD on the tower?
