Anybody have recommendations for an after market wakesurf add-on for a 2012 A22? |

I had the same boat and built my own. If I were going to buy one I would probably go for the Nauticurl. My home made gate: https://imgur.com/gallery/YZ0bF Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk |

toasttb We have sold a crazy amount of the nauticurl gates on Boardstop. For the price those are just really a great deal. |

I have the exact same boat and I bought the Nauticurl shaper. Couldn’t be more happy with it and it’s less than half the price of most other shapers. |

Do these types of suction cup styles stay on the boat or do they fall off easily? |

You will probably need to remove any wax in that area - and make sure you have it on flat surfaces with no angle changes (my a20 has a very limited space that it works - on the stripe down the side at the waterline basically.) I've had it fall off once or twice - but i know it was my fault for not attaching it well. I have a nauticurl on my 2013 A20 i picked up this spring and like it - although i'm doing custom GPS controlled gates using my controller I posted in DIY this fall. |

I would also recommend the Nauticurl. We have the surf gates from Wicked Wake and they work great also, but it takes a little more time when swapping sides. The Nauticurl is easy to move and seems to put out just as good of wake to surf. Never had mine fall off, you just need to make sure its on tight. I'm reading jtnorway's DIY post now, going to mount my surf gates. |
