Hey guys, I have been in contact with Eric at OJ props about setting up a group buy for the Cinco prop. He informed me that they will begin cutting props in early January and that we can do a group buy through an OJ dealer.

He said he will include the group discount on ANY OJ prop, not just the Cinco. Cinco msrp is around $650, with the group buy discount it will be around $450 (depending on what the dealer sets the price at, I will get in contact with the dealer this is going through to get the price). Other OJ props will be about 25% off the price.

If you want in on this deal PM me so that I can get a head count to give to Eric. The more people we have the better the deal. When it comes time to buy, you will pay through a califormia OJ dealer up in Antioch, and OJ will drop ship the prop directly to your address.

I have heard good and bad things about this prop, but from what I'm hearing the good outweighs the bad. Probably will buy into the HYPE......

3 for the cinco prop so far, keep the pm's coming, the bigger the list, the better the deal.

DTB, one of the guys with an A22 and 335 motor made a video with 2 different props, one of them was the cinco. He was very happy with it. I currently have the core prop, gets up on plane but tops out around 35mph. I'm told, and by all testimonials so far, the cinco should be similar bottom end/hole shot, but better top speed, which will help me lower my rpms at riding speed.

Regardless, I need a back up prop for the trips I have planned this year.

My local dealer got the following info on the prop from Axis:

I have been working with OJ since last March on the 5 blade. It was designed to replace the core prop which had complaints about high rpms, noise levels and low top speed. Performance – it will pull 800-1000 more lbs (depending on placement) than the Acme 1235 high altitude prop
Speed – both boats above 40 with the 335 CAT
Fuel – running full weight at riding speed the boat is at 3200 RPM
Noise- it is a much smaller diameter so it is quieter than the core prop
This has only been designed to work with the 335. We do not have a 5 blade that works with the 450 yet.

Just a thought. Should we post this group buy on Wakeworld to catch other Axis owners who maybe do not come on this board?

we have 7 for the cinco so far. Anyone else? You can order ANY OJ prop you want at a huge discount, not just the cinco. So for those of you who do not have a back up prop, it is a necessity.

Yeah, go on to wakeworld and call out all axis owners to come join this forum and pm me. thanks.

I plan on calling Eric in a week or so to get the details and get those props cut and sent out. I will post the required steps on this forum as soon as I get the info.
