Has anyone surfed the 2017 T23. Tried one out today with factory ballest. Just wondering how much better the wave is with upgraded ballest.

It'll surf fine with just the hard tanks and 15-20 of your friends or just add 900-1100's and the PnP bow sack and enjoy a less crowded boat. Is this your new boat or did you just demo?

Gibbs what motor do you have again?

What extra bags are you using? I assume a bow sack on top. You tried the Sumo Floor sac?

350 motor
OJ 945 prop
I run 100lbs lead in the bow and an extra 400lbs bag in the front walkway. I also run another 400 extra in the rear cabin floor sometimes depending on people. I have the standard bow sac under the seats and rear 1100's

So we've got the same engine/prop setup. I have the 825lb rear wakemakers bags, and I run the sumo triangle on top of the seats that's supposed to be 820lbs, and have 250lbs of lead spread throughout the boat. Also use the wedge. Yet I feel my wave doesn't look as long as yours...what speeds are you running?
