I was looking at the Wakeye Gopro mount that mounts on the tower rope and follows you as you wakeboard. I often wakeboard with my wife so I thought it would be a nice way to video ourselves.

Has anyone used it?
Looks like there are two sizes but my boat is on order so I can't measure which size, just curious if anyone has one and any input?

thanks

Cool idea, but having a GoPro, it isn't designed for long distant shots. I could see this used for surfing since you are much closer to the boat.

If your using a gopro to simply critique youself it will work just fine. The gopro films at 1440p 2k and 4k, so zooming in has become more practical with the higher resolutions. But I would not use it if your trying to make a quality edit video.

I agree with robert. I just throw the gopro on the tower 1080p 60FPS NFOV and it gets everything you need for critiquing yourself while wake boarding. Now if you are trying to make a sweet edit or something, it may be a little plain. Narrow field of view is important when doing this because if you keep it in wide, everything seems way to far away.
