I have to thank Tim from wetsounds for pointing me in this direction.

6 xs-650's
1 xs-12 (sealed box)
all powered off a Syn6
and no tower speakers, not a fan.

I had it installed and tuned by Curtis from So Cal Sound & Custom and I am extremely happy with how it looks and sounds. I explained to Tim what i wanted it to sound like, and it sounds perfect. I've had it for 1 month, took it back to Curtis last week so he could tune it after it broke in a bit, and now it sounds incredible.

Its a sealed box that he attached to the modified kick panel. Then I took and trimmed the carpet to sit up against the box. The carpet was easy to cut and since the fibers are injected into rubber, there is no chance of the carpet fraying. The carpet piece still has 2 snaps that hold it in place.

Also, can't stand the little $1 stock shift knob, tried to get a malibu knob thrown in with the deal but no dice. Looked at momo and isotta (the VLX used to have the isotta shift knob from the dodge viper) and they were very expensive, so I bought a Hurst 5 speed knob on ebay for $15.

3/8"- 16 thread, hurst shift part 1630008. It did not thread on perfectly, I took my tap and die kit and tapped into the brass threads on the knob. When I installed the knob onto the shifter it went on okay, I was able to get it all the way on and it was very tight the last few turns as I twisted it to get it perfectly straight. I can take it off if I wanted but its not going anywhere on its own.

I bought it on ebay and can give you the ebay account of the guy I bought it off of, he has plenty. Or, try to get your hands on one that has the exact thread size.
