So I bought a DSLR Camera mostly to learn how to take video, etc. I'd like to learn good still photography as well but first, video.
I realized the problem with this video already today. I left all the setting pretty much automatic. I should have set it up manually and changed the shutter speed and ISO. Oh well, it's a learning process.

I took these clips this past weekend and threw this quick edit together today. It's my 10 year old son. This is effectively his 2nd season wakeboarding. He won the Jr. Entro class in INT last year but Jr. Novice might be a bit harder this year...

I just picked up the t3i a couple months ago. I'm still trying to learn some of the settings. Amazing what a difference it is compared to point and shoot.
You're son looks like he's getting the hang of it!

That's essentially his next step. Maybe not a scarecrow but a backroll at least. This last weekend, he nailed his seatbelt and nuclear and that finishes off his tricklist in the novice class. Can't go up another class until he gets a solid invert down though.
