What's the best surf set up? Wedge or no wedge? Speed?
I tried to surf for the first time tonight. The groove felt a lot wider then the x2 I used to surf behind but I wanna dial it in. What side do you normally ride on. I have pnp ballast with 750 and 950 in front. I did no wedge and went about 11.4 mph and I rode port side toes to wake

We have the front full center 25% back full wedge down 10.8-11.2. Depending on the side. Also if we only have one or two people we put a 300lb fatsac on the seat.

I surf wedge up, 1100 in the rear full as possible, center full, and front full. All human ballast we can muster...

It's not really big but it's 100% clean. I rarely surf but my lady friend is pretty good and loves to slash the wake. She's actually done a handful of legit small airs on my Shred Stixx Thresher (uh, now "her" Shred Stixx lol).
