We have axis A22 Vandall edition 2011. When the engine is about 20-25, there is a extremely loud high pitched noise from the engine.
when i go faster it goes away.

unfortunately, we ride at 20-28 quite abit.

the noise is so loud , it almost intolerabel.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

what prop do you have? I have a similar noise at lower rpm. i think its from the transmission ( i don't know correct term for boats) i switched to a different prop and mine got better. its possible its a normal characteristic but i would check trans fluids just to be safe

Is the noise kinda like a whistle sound...almost like a supercharger in a car? If so, it's just the v-drive. Haven't heard yours so can't say if it's louder than others though.

Make sure the cover under the bench seat is closed up snug.

mine was loud enough to make me check fluids. i was slightly paranoid as it was the first trip out so i was paying to much attention to every noise. but i check fluid and everything was fine so i just figured it was normal. you can't hear it once you get up to speed and now that i changed prop i barley hear it at all
