With the PAC LC-1 you're only able to turn the amp/speakers attached to it down in volume, right?? For instance, if I have it wired to towers and HU set at 20, I can't turn the towers up in volume- correct?

My understanding is I can go down in volume, but not up past the HU set point. I may go with a zone control later on didnt have any money left in the budget....lol

That's what I thought. There couldn't be a gain for it and that's why the wetsounds/exile eqs are what I'm going with (actually ws420). I like the idea, but we wakeboard 80 percent of the time and I want to jam the towers and not kill everyone with cabins/sub. The fader idea works, but then you're messing with menus on HU. The eq's offer a quick knob turn for all zones.

If I had the cash this year I would go with a zoned line driver like you mentioned. (ZLD) Just cause I went with Exile everything else. I have read a lot of good reveiws on the ws 420 for the sounds of it you should be happy with it.

The install is progressing. Amps mounted on rack....check Power wire ran check... Rack back in the passanger locker...check Inboat speaker operation test....check Run new tower speaker wire, run sub speaker wire, install tower volume control, and install XM9s...In progress!
