When I stored the boat last spring I noticed a crack in the bracket that is mounted on the transom of the and supports the swim platform. Yesterday I picked the replacements up and I was told they might be tough to get off the boat. Apparently they are bolted and then mounted uses a marine silicone that can be challenging to get off.

I’m just wondering if anyone else out there has had the pleasure of replacing these gems. The service staff mentioned gentle and strategic use of a hammer and pri bar.

Please chime in if you have any thoughts.

Thanks in advance.

I need to do the same job - second year in a row we've broken ours - the step down to the boat from our pontoon is about 2-3ft and we think it's the weight of people jumping onto it. Where did you get the parts from pls?

Same problem - also think it's the 2ft step down from the pontoon... Was easy to remove though - just some bolts with a flat bar on the inside of the transom acting as a giant washer - was easy for us as we removed our rear fixed ballast - you may need to lift out the black floor that's sitting on top of your balllast tanks and peel back the carpet to get at the inside bolts.
