I put a mechanical gauge on it and its 50psi at idle.

With the sensor on it reads 0 with the key on and engine off. If I unplug the sensor it reads 113. I read on another forum that indicates the gauge and wiring is good and the sensor is bad, yet it's not the sensor in this case.

You need t get it into a dealer. Maybe you have a PCM dealer closer. Any PCM dealer can work on that.

The closest dealer is 150 miles away and my last experience was disastrous with them. Unfortunately there is not a good dealer option.

Call PCM to see if there is a closer PCM dealer that can look at it.

Had the same thing happen first trip to Havasu with 20 hours on it. 17 t23. Just no pressure gauge issues. Did a shut down reset and no issues again. Dealer couldn’t find anything in the history for that or any code my boat has thrown. It seems like a electrical gremlin to me in my and most cases. The mil may be related to the cats if I remember the research I did and a loose sensor.

Your oil gauge issue does sound like it needs to be addressed for replacement though but I’m sure if you know the pressure is good no harm waiting till you can get it replaced.

Hi guys. I own a 2016 axis a22. About 200 hours on it. I bought it at 100 hours. The “service engine” light keeps coming on when I tow under full weight (4000 lbs) with a boat full of people. It’s really annoying. I also have to continuously add oil every trip. Sometimes every day when we are pulling surfers all day. I’ve had issues with low oil pressure and i have to add more oil. Please let me know if you any solutions for this. I love my boat but I’m beginning to not trust axis/Malibu. I don’t want to be afraid every time i go out on the lake. Thanks guys.

I just spoke to Boulder boats (dealer). They said it’s common for my boat to burn oil when it’s running under heavy weight. They also said that the “service engine” light May be coming on if I ran my boat more than 50 hours without servicing it. So if I’m changing the oil myself I have to reset the timer for service so my “service engine” alert resets.
