Post subject:  2016 A24 Flat Wakesurf Wake

Hi guys. I am 1 year into my A24 and have been an active lurker on this forum trying to figure out how to optimize my wake. I am very happy with my wakeboarding wake, however I still can't seem to get any sort of steepness to my wakesurfing wake. Here is my current setup.
2016 A24. 350 with 2315 15x12 4-blade
750's in the rear, stock center (think it's 500), and a 600 under the seats in bow. 300lb lead i move around for testing.
I also have a 800lb bag i throw in the walkway and 600lb triangle i throw on top of the seats in the bow. Honestly that extra weight has seemed to hurt me more than help me so those extra bags tend to sit empty.

My wake has OK size, but it is super flat. There is no lip whatsoever. I am going to post a video for reference. Any help appreciated on what i might be doing wrong here. The video below shows 3 different wakes. Starts port-side at 11.6mph, at 15 seconds shows the stern at 12mph, at 35 seconds shows port at 12.6 (needs to be fast for foil).
On all 3 wedge is down

Try slowing down to 10.6-11. Mine is best at 10.8.

We are doing a 5 day Havasue trip this weekend for my girls Bday. I will try that out, but in the past anything under 11.2 and the wave doesn't seem to form when I have the bags filled. I will give it a try again

Might have too much weight in the bow, I have 825s in rear w 400 in the bow.

2 girls in boat usually
float wedge
water depth is 7-11' at green lake, 20+ at blue

ome thing on the wedge, i feel like it wants to retract when moving, my wedge light will flicker

The shallow water is whats hurting your wave the most

^^ less than 20 ft deep, there is not much room for displacement. Need deeper water.

I have a 18 T22 and I fill the center, fill the side I'm surfing on 100% with plug and play bags and put the wedge down. I leave the other side that I'm not surfing on either empty or 50% filled. I've noticed keeping the bow empty definitely helps. I feel like leaving the opposite side of surfing with less weight also helps, but I'm still pretty new to this. Try this and see if it works.

Also as others have mentioned, deeper water is obviously going to help also.

This is all great input. Thank you

I leave tomorrow for 5 days in Havasue so will be in some deep water. I am going to play with the aforementioned advice and will post the results
