Mine was back to the factory repair shop twice for hull and gel issues. It does not go back to the actual factory their repair place is a few miles away. I was far from happy with the response from the repair team and the boat had to go back the 2nd time because the first dealer that sent it in didn't care.
But a different dealer stepped up as my boat came from out of town. So now my next boat g23 eventually will be from them. I learned a lot about how Malibu pays about 40% of what they should on warranty work during my ordeal.
He said they expect 5-10% of profit on malibu/axis sales ends up towards labor paying their techs of what Malibu does not pay and puts them in the hole that's why he pushes nautique said they pay 100% of labor claims no questions

So here’s what I’m seeing is the small good local shops that care, as that’s their business, and didn’t sell you the boat or sell boats in general will go to bat for you and know how to properly diagnose and fix a issue. For SoCal that’s WakeTech Marine for me. The guys are sons of a fireman and hard workers.

I still can’t believe that for the issues the factory created and time my boat spent in repair and then to gel coat that they couldn’t even send a simple apology or anything. I tore em apart on my 1st year survey and still zero response. Boat has been good with no issues since the repair minus a random surf gate locked alarm when it’s not in use and randomly sometimes the surf gate controls will disappear from the screen. Both clear with shutting down and restarting and the dealers have zero idea of the issues cause.

I really hope people read this forum before buying as axis and Malibu can’t even respond to the issues at hand that are presenting in many of the peoples boats on here

I’ll add that the T23 wake and surf wave has been phenomenally all negative things aside

That's bullshit.

As long as the dealership has a tech who has been to school in the past 2 years they get full shop rate, not 40%.
