Post subject:  Anchoring to rocky bottom

Whats the best way to anchor to a rocky bottom about 50ft deep?

Last year we visited a lake in TX called canyon lake. Awesome lake, beautiful water. The lake is very deep 200ft+ and the party cove area is still fairly deep. 30-50ft if I recall correctly. I have a box anchor but ive never tried to anchor on rock bottom, I also didnt have long enough rope.

The cove is a little narrow, so it seems like most people would use a hook off the bow to the rocky wall/shore, then drop some sort of anchor off the rear.

I never anchor, and when I do, its in 3ft of sandy/muddy bottom, so a little unskilled in this area.
