I have two stand up paddle boards:
A bote hd12 and an off brand cheaper foam surf style paddle board. Both boards have large deep fins.

Anyone have experience surfing on a sup behind a boat. It's amazing how much push they get from the wave but insane how hard is it to stay on the wave without falling. I believe it's because they are s9 hard to steer.

Anyone have advice on surfing with a SUP? I was debating on pulling out the fin to see if that helps.

99% of SUP's are made for just paddling, not carving. There are surf specific SUP's. The tail shape and rails are different between the two. If you want to wakesurf with the feel of a coffee table then get an ocean longboard
