So I have a 2015 t22 before they changed the helm. My buddy has a 2017 a20 with the new helm and I find it to be a hassle to use. I for one highly dislike the wetsounds head unit because to quickly adjust the volume is not possible. The switches on the newer boats also trips me up a little when it comes to operating. It's not difficult but I must say I do greatly appreciate the simplicity of my toggle switches. There's no point to this post, I guess I just needed to vent. I currently have my boat for sale for a 2018 upgrade but I don't really see the value. Power wedge is an ok idea but again it's taking away from the simplicity. I'm curious on others opinion on the helm setup from older to newer. I would like to see a major change their before I upgrade.
I like the new gel scheme on the 18 t22! It's about time they bring a new style out.

Toggle switches for me too. I had a 2011 (with 2012 dash). Simplicity and a great wake is the reason I bought the first. Lose the PTM clamps and other fancy stuff. If that's what I'm after, I'll buy a Malibu or another boat in the price range. Axis prices are too close to the next tier of 'more plush' boats and I believe
they're approaching a fine line where people may pay the extra 10-15k for another brand with more features. I do really like the T22 changes. If I get into a boat again next year, this is a serious contender.
I'm pretty sure that's what they're hoping for. They'd rather sell a lot of Malibus and few Axis than the other way around.
