Hello guys!
I have a 2014 A22 that unfortunately didn't come with the chillax seat in the bow walktrough. It just has cushions that can be taken out. I would like to be able to flip up the seats and would appreciate if someone with a factory install could get me some pics of the hardware so I can see if it is easy to make the upgrade and what parts are needed.
Is it possible to lock the seats in the up Position and lean against them or do they just flip back down then?

I actually think I found the hinges on amazon a while back. I'll take some pictures tonight and see if I can dig up what I found.

The "Lid Stays" are Sugastune LAMP LB-350. I measured them out.

EDIT: Yes, they lock in the up position so that it's a back-rest. Those lid stays have a 55LB capacity each, so you can put 110lbs of weight on them, which is way more than a person leaning on them.

Thank you, that already helps me a lot. Does anyone have pictures of how these are attached to the boat itself and where the cushions are hinged? I'm wondering if this area is reinforced compared to a boat without the option.

It's not re-inforced (you're giving Malibu/Axis too much credit even thinking they would do that), but I can double check. I'll take some pictures the next time I open my boat up, which is probably later today.

Pictures would be highly appreciated. Then I can also check if the install would collide with my bow bag Installation.

I'd recommend trying to do the Malibu style hinge rather than the ones Axis uses. Those hinges bend really easy.

The Malibu hinges will interfere with the plug n play ballast.

I'll take another picture later, but the hinge itself has a weird 90 degree bend in it.
