Looking at a toureg that states 6500 lb towing capacity. I have a T22. Anyone tow with this car? I don't do long trips maybe an hour at most to get boat to water..

Imo I wouldn't want that short of a wheelbase tow vehicle, but that's the trucker in me coming out but most people probably think it tows fine. There's been tons of threads on wakeworld about tow vehicle input though and surely there's someone on there with a toureg so do a quick search there for a quicker answer

I tow my A22 with a Touareg 2 and it's a great tow vehicle. Never got into a situation where I wanted to have anything else! And it's a nice vehicle apart from that as well! I can only recommmend it!

I tow a 2015 A22 with a 2008 Cayenne Turbo (aka Porsche's Touareg) and it does fine. I've towed several trips up to 2 hours and never had an issue.

I tow my A22 with a 2016 Kia Sorrento V6 AWD rated 5,000 pounds. It tows great! As for pulling out on a slippery ramp, it out does every other normal tow vehicle around. I used to tow with a 2013 Sorrento and it was fine except it had too little weight on front wheels and was sometime challenging to get enough traction on steep, wet, sandy ramps. The AWD version I have now is incredible.

And I only tow from storage to the gas station and ramps. Never more than about 10 mile trips. Not sure I would like to tow it on long hauls just because I would hate to have that level of sustained load on the car. But for round town towing, these little SUVs are great - as long as your trailer brakes are properly working.

I tow an 03' VLX with an 06' V8 Touareg. Does an awesome job. I also sometimes tow my buddies 07' LSV. I haven't had any issues. I love the Touareg for backing up as it has a lot more adaptability than a truck. Touaregs weigh a little over 5000lbs, which I think helps a lot.

OK got the toureg.. awesome for towing the T22. Unbelievable maneuverability and can't feel the boat. I had a older acadia before and this thing is awesome..
