I'm thinking of buying a new Saltwater A22 and I'm curious, how much less than the MSRP price should I offer? Thanks in advance.

No less than 15% off on final price on current year boat. Leftover I wouldn't buy under 19-20%. Malibu LSV 23-25% off retail all day on current model, 27-30% off leftover

So if i am reading this correct. If I am haggling with dealer I should get at least 15% off msrp after all options added are totaled. Im meeting with them to put in an order for a boat. so lets say total with options is 78k msrp i should offer 66,300.00 which is 15% off.

let me know asap.

This is information from individuals that have purchase a new axis recently? also I will be ordering a boat not buying from dealer stock?

Which i would think would be a benefit for the dealer? I just asking because I am sure the dealer is going to tell me my info is wrong.
thanks

It doesn't matter if you/we purchased a boat recently, all the percentage off MSRP I found has been consistent the last 3-4yrs with current price trends. If a dealer is paying taxes on in stock boats (some dealers buy their boats outright) then they might push those over custom order but any good dealer would gladly order you a boat if they have a hull allotted to them. If your dealer says you can't a MINIMUM 15% off a new boat then find another dealer (unless you're happy with that).

What boat are you ordering?

On my A24, I wish I had the trailer steps since it sticks further out from the rear.

I agree trailer steps are necessary. Didn't have them on my T22 but my
New order has them.

I also think the 25-30% numbers are too optimistic on a new build, especially Axis, but I could see those numbers on a left over Malibu. Just my .02.
