Has anyone plumbed in reversible pump to fill and drain a supplemental bow sack to sit on top of the seats for surfing? I definitely see this happening in my future and I'd like to see some examples of how you guys have done it.

I am thinking about doing this too. My arrow sack for my A22 is always full way before my locker bags so I may just make loop off the vent line That can go to the bow seat bag and see how that works before I add a pump.

I was actually looking for where folks are mounting pumps / through hull stuff? I've got an idea on a quick disconnect setup for the bag.

Didn't "Fman" do a separate pump on one of his Malibus or was it just a piggyback?

I was thinking about removing the middle cushion and putting the top bow bag upside down and using the middle hole to overflow into the top bag and then it would gravity drain out into the under-seat bag when turn the bow drain on.

Hi there , have installed a wake makers reversable ballast pump to fill & drain additional bow bag when surfing. Fill & drain out the same threw hull fitting that is the front drain T Handel plug hole , never used that drain plug . Works very well , sucks the bag right down flat . Sorry it's an A22 , but an easy install on any boat.

OK so I went ahead and did this. I added a new through-hull/ball valve in the center bilge (kept the T handle intact so I can still drain there). Ran the hose up to under the helm with the other ballast hoses (lost a lot of knuckle skin getting the hose out of that hole). Mounted a reversible pump under the heater on the back wall of the helm. Ran the output hose from the pump up the starboard side of the bow, terminating it near the cupholder with a quick connect fitting. Then I have a short length of hose that I can connect to this fitting to jump to my fly high triangle sack for the bow.

Water test this weekend!
