After trying to add some vents to my PNP bags I decided to take some pictures of the PNP set up of my 2016 A22. There's a lot of posts about this but not many pictures. So this is just for anyone curious of the new set up as I believe it's a little different from past years. As for the vents I added to no longer have to burp the bags manually... I still need to test it out on the water. I bought all the hose and bag fittings from wake makers. Everything is 1 1/8" this year for the ballast. However the stock vents and bilge are significantly smaller. I'd guess 3/4" maybe even smaller. So what I did was Wye into the drain from the stock tank. I see no reason why this shouldn't work. While draining if some of the water returns back into the bag it will ultimately just circulate back into the hard tank and then pumped out again by the drain. So basically the water might be circulating while getting pumped out. I'll update this week once I get on the water. Note** All pictures show up regular on mobile but on a computer they all rotate to the left. Im not sure how to fix this so I'm sorry to computer users.

Here's what the rear looks like. The drain pump on the right. And the left hose goes to the rear of the PNP bag to fill and drain the bag.

Here's the thru hull fittings. Looking from outside the boat the rear most port is the drain. The middle is a vent for the stock hard tank. And the furthest forward to the right is the bilge

Use marine silicone and a hose clamp to attach the elbow to what is going to be new vent hose.

Measure out how much hose you will need and cut it with a pvc pipe cutter. Then attach a Wye. This one was bought from board stop. Use silicone and hose clamps. It's also a good idea to wrap all clamps with electrical tape so that they don't puncture the bag.

I'd also wrap the hose clamp with electrical tape to prevent accidental puncture or scrapes/cuts to your hands later on. |

Cut into the drain and attach he Wye in the same way that you did before.

And that's it. Attach the Elbow to the straight fitting on top of the bag and you are done.
