I'm going to be in Hallettsville Tx area the second week of February for work. I'd like to be able to tow the boat down with me and put it to use the week after. Is anything going to be warm enough? I bought this thing in October and haven't gotten it wet yet so I a more than ready to use it.

I know a number of people that surfed in December. I bet you can find some days to take the boat out. Might need a suit if you are going to get in the water.

I know a number of people that get in the water year 'round here in Austin in just a shorty.

I don't but a number of people do.

There are a couple places to ride which are power plant heated. It might require a little bit more driving. Some heated places like Lake Fayette in Fayetteville, tx could be the closest to you. Normal non-heated water temps in feb usually hang around 55 while Lake Fayette ranges from 65 to 80 depending how far from the discharge you are.
If you are in Texas, specifically near Houston, the local wakeboarding group GCWA is having their annual Freeze ride Jan 30. 2016. Check them out on Facebook (I am GCWA).
