That's awesome. Is your son laying on the board to start or traditional start? My 5 year old has been trying but hopefully getting up this year.

I think we are running lighter and faster than a lot of you. This @11.8 is with 900s about half full, full factory (including sumo triangle under seats) plus 150 in lead under the sumo in the bow.

I have twins that just turned 8. They deep water start now but when we started they were 6 and we used the tube. It took several months for them to get the strength and coordination for deep water start. I anchor the tube in the lake and then they sit on the edge with the board ready to go. It's so easy for the rider.
I do it with all the newbies; it keeps me from having to go back and forth ten times.

Great idea ... Starting from tube with newbies. I will give it a shot and see if I can get a few people up that have struggled. Thx

That is awesome! We tried tonight first time w/O wedge, 900's full. 11.4. Similar long, smooth, and great push! Water color in central indiana not close to as pretty as your pic.Image

yeah I'm real happy with the push from the back of the wave. We are running with wedge down.

This is on my soulcraft instead of my skimmer:

Beginner wife riding mid way back. Love the non-wedge length and the push is amazing. She's riding a fish (dog of a board) and recovered a few times waaayyy back. Love the t23! All the wash is because we just came past a fairly shallow part of the lake.
