First time behind a G21 today sacked out. That shit is legit. Malibu needs to catch up. It was beyond my level of riding.

He had some lead in it....and a 400lb sac in the walkway.

Gotcha. I used to think the G's were so ugly. Within the last year or so though I've really started to come around to them though. Everyone says they drive like school buses though.

I guess I have never really cared how a boat drives or rides to a certain extent, as long as it throws a baller wake. The G has companies like Malibu and Mastercraft trying to catch up with the wake performance. Supposedly Malibu has something in the works. I was able to surf the G yesterday and it has tons of push. It feels like my Axis with the wedge down but even more push. The negative part is it doesn't get as clean as the Axis and surfgate. I plan to ride it again in the near future. The guy riding in the video is 6'2" or so. I rode at 70' and 23 mph and was get punted. The wake is the most solid I have felt from top to bottom. It is as vertical as with the wedge down but as solid as if the wedge is up.

Don't forget to calibrate your speedometer. Mine was off by 2mph.

That G21 wake looks legit btw.

I think our Axis boats are "beyond our level". Unless you are getting paid, our boats are beyond enough. Haven't behind the G21 but the Nautique 210 is probably my favorite wakeboard wake. Straight up hitting a curb with so much vert to the wake. I've spent a few hours on the water in a G23 but it was in January on one of those freak 78 degree days so no riding. The functionality of the G's series is amazing although I don't care for the square-ish seats (as if I'll ever own one lol)
