I usually add about 2 cups of liquid bleach to my bags and tanks to help prevent alge growth. |

I don't think the 330 has the knock sensors. Mine doesn't. Anyways, I did all of the stuff mentioned above except I put back in all the drain plugs and sacrificial anodes and ran straight rv antifreeze through the system. It took about 3 gallons but it gives me a warm fuzzy knowing additional corrosion is not going on inside the coolant system. I also poured antifreeze down all of the ballast tanks and made the center tank suck some antifreeze into it. |

Wow that seems like a lot of work. And then you don't even play with it for a long time. My winterizing consists of stashing a couple of sweatshirts into the storage area below the glove box. It seems to last all winter. Then in the spring we take them back out until the next winter. Nice living where we do not have freezing temperatures. |

2014 T22 ... 5/8" garden hose connection, the only thing that I see is this. Looks like it connects to the dripless shaft connection. The hoses come off the exhaust manifold then T into a single smaller hose. There's no garden hose connector correct?

Winterized yesterday, haven't done it myself in a few years. Step 1 took me an hour because I forgot the post was from an 09-11 and I have a 12. Breezed through everything after that. Just need to find a good battery charger now.... and wait for the warmth! |

Thank you Walter for a very thorough post. I just got a 2010 A22 last weekend and have never winterized a boat before so I am a bit anxious. Could you post a photo of where you unplug the ignition coil? Also, can you tell me why the local shops around me add marine anti-freeze after draining all the water? |

Its actually RV antifreeze after draining. It is about $4/gallon at walmart. Probably cheaper somewhere else if you can find it. The antifreeze is added to prevent internal corrosion of the cooling system. When the internal components are exposed to air that has moisture it it, it causes the internals to corrode faster than a cooling system with water or antifreeze in it. |

Whats the deal with the garden hose connector on the 2014 T22? Mine doesn't have one ... am I missing something? |

I also do not have the connector, Just removed the clamp and drained at the T Is it alright to just remove the knock sensors or do the plugs they bolt into also need to be removed? |
