was thinking of making some carbon fiber trim pieces to replace the cheap flat black ABS pieces in the boat. There are several of them used on the cup holders and dash pieces. I think it would give the boat a nicer finish?

yup, will make them myself. will pull off the existing pieces and use as patterns to cut out of carbon fiber high gloss sheet that I will lay up. pretty easy to do, just the high cost of the carbon fiber. This is all just flat sheet stock, so pretty easy. I will prolly have them CNC cut, as I have a buddy with a CNC machine. The boats are awesome, but they cut corners to keep the cost down and the cheesy black ABS plastic that they used in these areas would look soooo much better outta CF. It would also tie in nicely with the black textured vinyl, as it kinda looks like cf. I am also thinking of replacing the machined aluminum pieces with 'axis' cut into them, that are on the interior sides, screwed onto the vinyl triangles. My triangles are grey, so it would really stand out and look good. Might even replace my tower struts, that the wake racks bolt on to. This would look cool as well. If people would be interested in these, I might mass produce and sell them. Will work on these over the off season and post some pix when done!

Hi, wvidal
No pricing yet... need to finish up the first set for my boat, then figure all that out once completed.
I will post some pictures of the finished product and prices for those who would be interested, shortly after completing the first set. (couple weeks)
Not much time for side projects at the moment, as work has been real busy- More to come.

OK, finally finished the carbon interior trim pieces. Work has been crazy busy, was hard to find time to finish them up.
Here are some images. I will post some more pix, once I get them installed
