My MIL Engine alarm check service required light keeps going off... Any idea how to turn it off? Everything seems perfect with the boat. The boat is brand new as of yesterday.

Its probably your knock sensor needs to be tightened.

Ok I will check that thanks... I know it has to be something small... The boat runs perfectly.

Not sure what motor you have but indmar recommended 4-5 quick on/off turns of the key in an attempt to reset mine.

They did also confirm though that if you take another route to reset the light and the issue is not corrected you are going to void your warranty. I took it in to the dealer and they did a quick check. Worth it for the peace of mind

You might do a search on indmars website and see if the code numbers pull up anything, if not someone on here may be able to find out in a day or 2

It sounds like the two knock sensors. My buddy had the same issue a month ago. Those codes sound very familiar. Wait till the armchair mechanics get back to work tomorrow.

I called Paul at Bakes... The computer is trying to detect both knock sensors but I have the 330 and that engine doesn't have knock sensors... So the computer apparently was calibrated wrong from the factory.

So my diagnosis was correct. My experience comes from my buddy with a 350 that had the same issue. We called the dealer while on the lake and he told us to keep riding and it wasn't a big deal.
