2010 A22. No PNP yet

My left rear hard tank won't drain anymore. The pump sounded different than the right so I replaced the cartridge. Still no luck. I tried reversing the wires, checked the vent tube which looks good.

I pulled the drain house back and forth a couple of times and it didn't feel stuck or kinked. Not sure how to get to it where it goes below the engine.

Any ideas? When I replaced the cartridge water came gushing out so I wouldn't think it was a prime or clog problem?

I'd pull it back out and make sure the little plastic impeller is spinning when you turn it on, then make sure it doesn't bind on the housing when you install it. Maybe stick your finger in the fitting and see if there's a piece of trash hanging around.

It is spinning, and I put my finger in housing and couldn't feel anything. I'm really stumped, thinking next I will unscrew the fitting from the hard tank. It could be binding, I'll check that next.

Is there a way to get to the drain tube? Also is possible to pull the plastic floor out without taking the seat apart? Thanks!

The drain pump should be in the far back under the plastic cover, just remove a couple of screws and pull off the cover, all the way back against the transom, the piece of the floor that's raised up just a little

I bet you have a kinked drain hose. Trace it when you get that little cover off the back.

I pulled the drain hose off the pump and it's pushing water out. Put the hose back on no water coming out the side. So the hose must have a kink. I traced it from back of the tank but can't find how to see it under the floor.

How can I tell if it's kinked between these points? It's not kinked anywhere past these.

Crazy how that didn't get tangled in the pump but stuck in the hose instead
