At this point were splitting hairs. Amsugg is the only one who has taken the time to take before and after pics of both the wedge (in both postions) and the wake before and after. We all appreciate that very much.

There is more than enough information here for members to change the bolts out and try for it for themself. I switched mine and noticed it was bit more lippy. Im sure each person will have their own opinon, but either way the info is here now.

It seems that only a few dealers know of this adjustment which seems weird to me.

no worries man this has been fun. I like figuring things out, im still going to redo the test in glass, and get my wife's opinion, and check rpms ..... but for those looking but not responding pic A is stock, pic B is lower hole

honestly, I think its just a lucky coincidence that the lower hole does anything different. its the same bracket from the Malibu locking manual wedge, they added the bolts so that it wouldn't be the exact same thing as a Malibu imo. that's why no ones ever heard of it. someone changed it messing around thought it made a difference and told someone ..... on so the rumor churns

It makes me wonder if the installer just throws a couple of bolts in a the holes and moves on. My "stock" hole with the bolts in it were the lower one. I moved my bolts up to the higher one last weekend to see if I could tell a difference and I couldn't. I didn't perform the testing like you did. We just filled the ballast up to a decent level over stock and rode it. I will probably switch them back to the lower hole this weekend when I ride but I doubt I will use the wedge much. I am going to go out with the gf and practice some things that don't require much ballast.

I just checked yesterday and my A24 came with the bolt in the lower position from the factory.

That really doesn't look much different to me but if you guys can tell a difference when riding it that's all that matters:)
I may have to give it a try next time on the water

Yeah ..... After riding lower hole again there is no doubt in my mind that it changes something...... Stock seems like a good solid ramp lower hole has a lip that just boots you up. It works well in upper hole and works even better in lower. Rpm in lower hole is about 2500 @ 20mph but I'm not changing it back to check the other cause I'm loving it where it's at

Did anyone else try this yet? I will probably set mine to the lower hole this weekend.
