Dezul don't stick the gopro directly in the wedge hole the push from the prop makes it hard to see. It was really hard to hold the pole in the water to get a visual. I'm still going to try and get better footage as soon as I can think of a way

I'm sure it "moves" so to speak as the laws of physics enact on it but it doesn't move enough for me to consider it a floating wedge. If anything it's inconclusive at best as the water does block sight for a few seconds but ever time I see it it appears to be on the stops. At which point do you think you see it move?

As I understand it the floating wedge creates drag pulling the hull down and creating a larger wake. So imagine it's like a parachute catching wind, it's going to move slightly as the angle of the hull changes with speed and "grab" as much water as it can. That's how it was explained to me. To lock it in one place you're going to have to find the perfect speed/weight combination for it to be useful. I was told to drop it and let it do it's thing. I'm not an expert and that's just my .02 but it makes sense to me. I understand the Malibu power wedge can be adjusted to fine tune the wake but locking it one spot won't really fine tune anything.

I guess what we really need is Malibu/axis definition of "floating"

I didn't get a chance to take any video yesterday cause I had a full boat and we were riding the entire time. Hopefully I can do it soon. amsugg, how fast did you get the boat up to?
