Just wanted to show how I did my rear drain so my 900's can be as far back as possible and to minimize any chance of the fitting popping off with the factory routing. I just shortened the factory hose by at least 2/3's and then added 2 elbows. To notch the triangle floor panel I just used a Dremel.

I just plugged the back and ran mine through the front drain. Then you can put it as far back as possible.

I wanted to take advantage of 2 drain ports in the sack and the 2 drains in the hard tank. Hated the slow gravity feed with only the one drain port in the hard tank in my 2011

No sir, I just used marine silicon and connected them together directly. I figured I'll never need to take the two elbows a part anyways so cut the chances of any leaks and used the silicon. In the pic you can see the red ring of the first elbow connected to the drain tube poking up out of the notch cut-out and the top bow is simply siliconed into it.

Thanks AJ this thread should be "sticky" as it looks like every axis owner with PNP will need to do it at some point.

Just did this last week. Our fittings kept popping off on the back drain. Did exactly what AJ did and it worked perfectly tonight. My dealer wants me to show their shop guys what I did. So they can start recommending and then changing other axis owners boats. Apparently they have been having this problem for awhile. Umm axis/Malibu are you there??? :D

Is this fix specifically because yall are using sumo bags? I have the fly-high 600s (I think) and I'm considering upgrading to something larger because I can't seem to get a long enough surf wave and good push with my current set up. Just wondering if this is something I will end needing to do if I upgrade. Haven't had an issue with my drains popping off of the fly-highs yet or at least that I know of...
I imagine the entire rear storage area fills with water when they come loose?
