Hello Everyone,

I have a Axis A20 2014 Vandall Edition on order and should be picking it up sometime in March (the wait is killing me).
I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea on how the 350 is on fuel. I ordered it fully loaded so it will have the
Plug 'n Play and I have the 950lb bow sac and 2-400lb sacs for the rear lockers. This will probably be all the weight I'll
be adding this year. Basically what is the best scenario for GPH and the worst? Or what does your boat cost you to
run it per hour?...$10...$20...$30...$40...$50/hr?

Thanks for your time!
Mulisha911

PS. The prop is the High Altitude Prop, as well I have the 2315 Acme prop...so let me know which is better.

I'd be curious to see what becomes of this thread. I have a new T22 coming with the cinco 5 blade.

First off, congrats on your new Axis! You will love it, especially the wake.

And this is interesting, not sure I have heard of an A20 with the 350 yet. I'm sure they are out there, just not very common. With the right prop, the 335 will pull a ridiculous amount of weight even in an A22. Most will tell you that the 350 doesn't change the torque curve much where it counts, when it comes to planing out. Sorry I don't have any info on the gph of the 350.

Oh and Fishn: I am currently running the OJ cinco. Prop is great, but if I want to run the rear PnP bags full, with wedge (which is way more weight than I need), extra bow weight is needed to plane. But, you would want to run extra weight in the bow anyway with that setup to keep the 50:50 ratio as close as possible.

Fuel consumption varies by what your primary activity is. Wakeboarding vs surfing and whether or not you're doing a lot of WOT pulls out of the hole after a lot of falls. You have chosen a good prop for holeshot so that should help you though.

Cool. My dealer recommended the cinco since we are basically rookies and won't be "slamming" the boat just yet and figured we would appreciate the fuel savings. In fact they were telling me a story about the last contest they pulled...one was an LSV with the high altitude and the other was an A22 with the cinco...the LSV filled up with gas everyday of the contest while the A22 pulled the whole weekend on a half tank. I will probably get the acme high altitude for a spare. I also failed to mention I'm getting the 350 in my boat too.

Nice! You've never heard anyone say, "I wish I had less horsepower." You will really like the cinco. Just make it your spare when your ready to max out the weight and run the wedge. Like you said, good fuel savings and its nice and quiet too.

I personally don't think the Cinco prop did anything for fuel consumption. I like that it is quieter, less turbulence on the wake table, less roost as well. I still have it but like the 1235 better.

I agree with AJ… I ran both the cinco for a while and the 1235 with my 335 CAT motor. Again I do not have the 350 but here is my GPH for my 335.

Fully loaded 4000 lbs ballast or more plus people, wakeboarding only, WOT for 20+ seconds to get up to plane every time….

Cinco = 3.25 GPH
1235 = 3.25 GPH
2315 = 3.5 GPH

This was all with multiple trips out with each prop. 1400 feet elevation, 87 or 89 octane fuel.

Fuel consumption may vary depending on fuel, elevation, ballast configuration and your particular motor (wed motor or friday motor..)

Cinco is a great prop, very smooth and quiet, and will handle almost any weight most of us run, if you need more the 1235 is your prop, and the 2315 will pull down a house, you just sacrifice with a little bit of a louder rougher ride, and a little bit higher running rpm = more fuel consumption, imo.

that said I run the 2315 unless I go to a really big lake with family, then I throw on the cinco.

What prop comes default with the 2014 A22? Any recommendations on the best online site to order a Cinco?

Check out this link. It should give you an idea of what your looking for.

http://www.wakemakers.com/axis-wakeboar ... propellers

My 2014 came with the ACME 1235. I plan to upgrade to the 2315 when I install my ballast.

The best site to order from is the board sponsored site.

http://www.boardstop.com/

Good luck on hoping to get one cheap. If you find a place, let me know.
